Mit Preisgeldern von rund 30.000.- Euro, 10 attraktiven Preisträgerkonzerten (u. a. beim weltberühmten Bach-Fest in Leipzig) und einem Plattenvertrag mit Werken Bachs sowie einer wertvollen Bronzestatue gehört dieser Wettbewerb bereits jetzt zu den bedeutendsten Gitarrenwettbewerben weltweit. The European Bach Guitar Award is being organised for the second time. With prize money of around 30,000 euros, 10 attractive prize-winners' concerts (including at the world-famous Bach Festival in Leipzig) and a recording contract with works by Bach as well as a valuable bronze statue, this competition is already one of the most important guitar competitions in the world.
