Cost per participant: 1.090.- EURO

Scholarship: 800.- EURO per participant

The BACH-Masterclass includes for each participant

1. -4 nights in the *****-Hotel MARITIM Darmstadt incl. intercontinental breakfast
   

- 3 individual lessons with T. Hoppstock

- Lecture T. Hoppstock on “Polyphony in Bach's works for the lute“

- Lecture Rainer Zipperling on “Phrasing and articulation in Bach‘s music“

- Lecture Thomas Müller-Pering on “Bach‘s Sonatas for violin solo“ (BWV 1001, 1003, 1005)

- complete passive participation in all master class lessons

- Participants concert

The special offer:

Each selected participant will receive a scholarship of 800.- EURO, donated by the Bach Guitar Academy.

The entire project costs over 6,500.00 EURO, but is reduced to 1.740 EURO by sponsorship. This results in a participation fee of only 290.00 EURO due to the scholarships.

How to apply - admission requirements:

- Every guitarist born between 1989 and 2010 and living in a European country can apply. Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Accommodation for this person(s) will not be covered by the organiser.

- Applications must be made via the application form (download).pdf, stating nationality, date of birth (please provide a photo of the ID) and home address. The completed/signed form must be sent to the organiser as a PDF by e-mail to info@gita-darmstadt.de.

- At least 3 (max. 6) works should be submitted as Youtube links. One of these must be a work from the Baroque period. The recordings do not have to be produced especially for the Bach Masterclass. Older recordings (back until 2 years) can also be used.

1. -Applications can be submitted as of now. The closing date for applications is 15 March 2026. After receipt of the confirmation for the Bach Masterclass, the application fee of 290.00 EURO must be paid into the account of the Darmstädter Gitarrentage e. V. within one week.

Das spezielle Angebot:

Jeder ausgewählte Teilnehmer erhält ein Stipendium  in Höhe von 800.- EURO, das von der Bach

Guitar Academy gestiftet wird. Das gesamte Projekt kostet über 6.500,00 EURO, wird aber durch Sponsorengelder auf 1.740,00 EURO reduziert. Somit ergibt sich eine Teilnahmegebühr von jeweils lediglich 290,00 EURO (statt 1.090,00).

Bewerbung + Zulassungsvoraussetzungen:

1. -Bewerben kann sich jeder Gitarrist/Gitarristin der Geburtsjahrgänge 1989 bis 2010, wohnhaft in einem europäischen Land. Teilnehmer unter 18 Jahren müssen mit Begleitung eines Elternteils oder verantwortlichen Erwachsenen erscheinen. Die Übernachtung für diese Begleitperson(en) wird vom Veranstalter nicht übernommen.
   

1. -Die Bewerbung erfolgt per Anmeldeformular (als download) mit Angabe der Nationalität, des Geburtsdatums (bitte Foto des Ausweises) und der Wohnadresse. Das ausgefüllte/unterschriebene Formular muss als PDF per E-Mail an den Veranstalter geschickt werden.
   

1. -Es sollten wenigstens 3 (max. 6) Werke als Youtube-Links eingereicht werden. Darunter muss ein Werk aus dem Barock enthalten sein. Die Aufnahmen müssen nicht extra für die Bach-Masterclass produziert werden. Es können auch ältere Aufnahmen verwendet werden (max. 2 Jahre alt!!!).
   

1. -Die Bewerbung kann ab sofort eingereicht werden. Schlusstermin für die Bewerbung ist der 15. März 2026. Nach Erhalt der Bestätigung für die Bach-Masterclass muss binnen 1 Woche die Anmeldegebühr in Höhe von 290,00 EURO auf das Konto des Darmstädter Gitarrentage e. V. eingegangen sein.
